Can I pay at the door?
Yes, you can. At the door a competition ticket costs € 35.00. Online it is € 30.00, and through 30 November even € 20.00 with the Early Bird rate.
How do I enter as a dancer?
Entries run through the World Dance Council, at dancemasters.nl. That is where you give your federation and your class. An entrance ticket for the competition is bought separately through this site.
Is the start number included in the price?
Yes. Unlike what you may be used to, you pay nothing extra for a start number here. You collect it on the day itself.
May I dance in several classes?
Yes. One competition ticket lets you compete in several classes.
What is the refund policy?
Up to four weeks before the event you get everything back. Between four and two weeks before that is half, between two weeks and one week before a quarter. In the last week there is no refund.
How do I get my ticket?
With an online order you receive the ticket by e-mail. You have it scanned on arrival, on paper or on your phone. After that you are given a wristband. Once scanned, the ticket is no longer valid.
What if it is sold out?
As soon as the maximum is reached, it is shown on the site. For the competition that is 400 tickets, for the workshop 50 and for the afterparty 300.
Do I need protectors under my shoes?
Yes. The floor is parquet. Ladies and followers dance with heel protectors. Be careful with wax, oil and water too. You can buy protectors and brushes at the dance shop on site. Also read the text under Terms and privacy in the colophon.
Is the afterparty included?
For everyone with a competition ticket the afterparty is free. If you are coming only for the afterparty, you buy a separate ticket of € 15.00, or € 10.00 with the Early Bird rate.
Can I stay all day?
Yes. You can be at the competition from 11:00 to 18:00, after that there is the workshop and from 20:30 the afterparty.
