The event that puts Amsterdam back on the dance map. The ballroom and Latin competition for every class and every age, under the auspices of the WDC. Followed by a workshop with Kyle Taylor and an after party that is also open to salsa, bachata and tango.

The event
On Saturday 6 February 2027, CanDance in Amsterdam becomes the setting for a world ballroom and Latin dance competition, with couples at amateur, pro-am and professional level. CanDance has been booked in full for the day: the main hall becomes the 12 by 25 metre competition floor with a genuine floating parquet surface, the second hall stays empty so dancers can prepare in peace, and the third serves as a changing room. An internationally recognised panel of judges, with many years of experience as dancers and trainers, assesses the performances. The competition is run by experienced people, and first aiders who know the dance world are on site.

Tickets
