What makes this event unique?
The venue is in a sports temple that is internationally known, namely the Kees Kist lounge in the AZ stadium and can accommodate 1,700 visitors with 2 bars. There are 2 competition floors of at least 10 x 20 meters & 10x16 meters. De wedstrijd, die open staat voor amateurs van ieder niveau, professionals en Pro-AM, staat onder auspiciën van de dansbonden NL en dat garandeert een internationaal erkende jury met gedegen vakkennis. Our Mission
The goal is to take the ballroom and Latin dance culture to the next level and organize an event in which both participants and spectators are immersed in world dance.This event provides a stage for amateur, professional, pro-am, junior and senior dancers to showcase their talents and further develop themselves in an inspiring and atmospheric environment.
Hans Kruimer - the initiator
De Cheese Town Trophy wordt georganiseerd door Hans Kruimer, een gepassioneerde dansliefhebber, volledig gediplomeerd FDO met een diepgewortelde liefde voor de sport. Met jarenlange ervaring in de danswereld, met een groot opgebouwd netwerk, streeft hij ernaar om een evenement te creëren dat niet alleen een wedstrijd is, maar ook een viering van dans als kunstvorm.
