1 Contact details organization
The Cheese Town Trophy is organized by:

If you wish to make a complaint about the competition, you can do so in the first instance directly to the organization and, if necessary, escalate the matter to the relevant sports association to which you are affiliated or your personal insurance company.
Hans Kruimer is a certified dance teacher on behalf of the FDO (Licentiate).
He is affiliated as an official with the FDO, NDO, and WDC.
2 Participants present
The Cheese Town Trophy is an international event with visitors and dancers mainly from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, England, and other EU countries.
The dancers are affiliated with their recognized national dance (sport) associations and compete in specific competition classes. The class in which they compete is in line with the class in which they are also classified in the Cheese Town Trophy, or for which they compete on behalf of their country.
The following information is then relevant for the organization: are you a visitor or a dancer? For dancers, you will be asked, among other things, about your association and class (see § 5).
The jury members are recognized by their sports federations and are invited by the Cheese Town Trophy organization in a personal capacity.
Individual participants may not communicate with the jury members about their selection. The jury members have been instructed by their federations not to comment on individual dance performances. The jury members are therefore not accountable to visitors or dancers. Dancers may lodge complaints about jury members with their federation, if present.
3 The activities provided during the Cheese Town Trophy
The Cheese Town Trophy is responsible for the competition and therefore also for the results. The final will have a maximum of 6 participants (if a couple finishes in a tie, a few extra couples may be allowed to dance). This means that you will be announced as a couple at the award ceremony with your place.
In addition, the organization offers the dancers a warm-up dance floor. This is located in the same room as the competition floor. The competition floor is approximately 10 x 20 m2 and the warm-up floor is approximately 10 x 16 m2. You are requested to use the warm-up floor for dancing only. There is one general changing room for changing clothes. The changing room is for dancers and support persons only.
The organization also offers the following services:
Early Bird Ticket and Regular Ticket.
These give you access to the event.
No distinction is made between visitors and dancers.
The ticket is personal and cannot be transferred. It will be scanned at the entrance and you will receive a wristband with your ticket choice on it.
If you pay via the website, your name and bank details will be registered. Except for tax purposes, the organization does not store your other personal data. This data is anonymized. This means that the following information is stored: Ticket choice, location (country), and dance category.
Clasie Ticket
This ticket entitles you to admission to the event plus coffee or tea with an assortment of cookies and/or cakes.
Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies. The organization will then consult with AZ’s catering service to see what can be provided within the scope of the catering offered.

All-in ticket
This ticket entitles you to admission to the event plus a selection of drinks (see the website for details).

VIP Ticket
This ticket entitles you to admission to the event plus a selection of drinks (see the website for details) and various dishes and snacks.
It is best to provide any allergy information or dietary requirements in advance. The organization will then consult with AZ’s catering service to see what can be provided within the scope of the catering offered.

This ticket is personal and cannot be transferred. It will be scanned at the entrance and you will receive a wristband with your ticket selection on it.

Sky Box
There are two Sky Boxes available.
These can accommodate up to 20 people.
You will not have a view of the competition floor and this ticket does not grant you access to the competition. It is a supplement to one of the other tickets.

These tickets are personal and cannot be transferred. They will be scanned at the entrance and you will receive wristbands with your individual ticket choices.
If you pay via the website, your name and bank details will be registered. Except for tax purposes, the organization will not store your other personal data. These will be anonymized. This means that the following will be stored: Location (country) and dance category.
Photos
Photos will be taken by various individuals and by the organization. By participating, you waive the right to complain about general photos in which you appear, i.e., in a group of people. However, you can indicate that you do not want individual photos of yourself by means of a sticker. You can request this at the entrance.
Certain photos will be included in a subsequent version on the website and/or the Quodari app. It is not permitted to use the photos from the website for commercial purposes without the permission of Enjoy Ballroom and Latin and the person(s) involved.
4 The competition venue
The competition will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
The schedule will be announced by the relevant associations. You are welcome to stay for the entire competition day.

The dance floor is made of hard PVC.
We kindly request that ladies, or their partners, take care with stiletto heels. There is a dance shop where you can buy protective caps. These are to prevent damage to the floor from steel pins that can leave marks.
It is also not permitted to treat the soles of your shoes with any type of oil (or other substances). This is to prevent damage to the floor.
If you cause damage to the floor and/or other objects in the AZ stadium in any way, the organization will make every effort to recover the damage from you.
Your personal details may be requested from various institutions.
You can buy brushes at the dance shop on site. These will help you get your shoes in the right condition. The floor has been tested and approved by the organization and a representative of WDC-All.
5 Personal information
For visitors, when paying via the internet, the organization will receive the following information from you: Account holder name and account number. We cannot remove this information from our bank records after payment. This is partly due to tax legislation. These details are stored at ASN Bank in the account of Cl3space, which is a subsidiary of Enjoy Ballroom and Latin. This data will not be shared with anyone outside Cl3space, except for the accountant and the tax authorities upon request.
We also ask visitors to provide their name, email address, telephone number, place of residence, and country.
As a visitor, you can order tickets for multiple visitors. You cannot book for yourself and a dance couple, as dancers must indicate per couple or person in which class they dance, etc. For dancers, personal competition data is required.
Again, the following will be deleted within one month after the competition day: Name, email address, and phone number. The data will be anonymized for subsequent data analysis.
For dancers, when paying for a solo dancer or dance couple, the organization will receive the following from you: Name of account holder and account number. We cannot remove these from our bank data after the event, partly due to tax legislation. These will be stored at ASN Bank in the account of Cl3space, which is a subsidiary of Enjoy Ballroom and Latin. This data will not be shared with anyone outside Cl3space, except for the accountant and the tax authorities upon request.
In addition, we ask dancers to provide: Name, email address, telephone number, place of residence, country, association you represent, and dance class(es) or categories.
This form will be available when you order a ticket. You can fill in your details for yourself or for your dance partner. You cannot order tickets for a group as a whole, because you will be asked to specify your dance class and whether you are dancing with a partner, etc.
Once again, the following will be deleted within one month after the competition day: Name, email address, and phone number. The data will be anonymized for subsequent data analysis.
For dancers, your attendance will be reported to the relevant association, partly for the purpose of registering your results and paying the association for organizing this Cheese Town Trophy on behalf of the relevant association. This does not apply to associations on whose behalf this competition is not organized.
The Cheese Town Trophy organization cannot be held responsible for data processing within the association and therefore categorically rejects this responsibility.
You can pick up your race numbers on the day at the indicated location.
Again, your personal data will not be shared with anyone other than:
concerns financial data (ticket selection, name, and account number)
6 Online tracking
The site works with Elementor, Word Press, Event Tickets, Mollie, etc. As a result, it cannot be ruled out that users may be tracked by Google, Event Tickets, Mollie, and others. The organization recommends Ghostery to block any trackers. However, the organization is not responsible for any damage caused by the malfunctioning of your anti-tracking measures or tracking activities that still take place with your choice of anti-tracking measures or your antivirus software.
The Cheese Town Trophy organization does not carry out any tracking activities itself. The site contains a link to Quodari. This site does not sell your data, nor does the Cheese Town Trophy organization.
You can post comments and photos relating to the competition on the Quodari app in a personal capacity.
The site is equipped with measures to prevent infringement and scan human activity.
7 Changes to this document regarding private data
You will not be notified of changes to this document.
You can consult this document at any time on the website www.enjoyballroomandlatin.eu, where you will find a list of changes at the beginning (of this document).
8 Returns and availability of tickets
The following applies to ticket refunds:
Tickets ordered online.
These will be refunded in full if requested 4 weeks before the event.
If a request is made between 4 weeks and 2 weeks before the event, half will be refunded.
If the request is made between 2 weeks and 1 week before the event, a quarter will be refunded.
If the request is received between one week and the day before the event, no refund will be given.
Tickets will be sent by email for online orders. They will be scanned at the entrance on paper or on your mobile phone.
If you purchase at the door, you will be given a paper ticket.
After scanning, the ticket is no longer valid. You will therefore receive a wristband(s).
